Patrick Walker

Rightster

Patrick Walker is CEO of Rightster. He has over 20 years of experience in the media industry. He began his career as a TV producer for Japan’s public broadcaster, NHK, and then for BBC News a Senior Broadcast Journalist across Asia. In 2006 he began working on Google’s video strategy. In 2013 Patrick joined UK-based Multi-Channel Network (MCN) Base79 as its Chief Content Officer and following Base79’s acquisition by Rightster in July 2014, Patrick joined Rightster’s Executive Team as Chief Commercial Officer. In January 2015 Patrick was announced as Rightster’s Chief Executive Officer and will be appointed to the Board of the Company in due course.

Rightster was founded in May 2011 with the vision of enabling media businesses and brands to overcome the huge fragmentation in the online video market with a single technology platform for engaging audiences and transacting with optimal efficiency.
