Circumstance was established in 2010 in Bristol and it’s current directors are Tom Abba, Sarah Anderson and Duncan Speakman.
They make intimate in-ear stories, mass participation performances, pedestrian symphonies, and books that go beyond the page.
Their work is often cinematic, but almost never involves film.
They work with the narrative of experience, the politics of public space, sound and mobile technology.
They wrap their questions up in melancholy and romance.
